Ep 51. Turn Your Life Purpose into a Sustainable Business

Hey, everyone! On  “The Design and Align Your Business Podcast," one of the big ideas we dive into is that your life isn't just a series of random events. You've got a specific life purpose, and your human design is like a universal job description meant to help you fulfill this purpose. As I love to say, "All those desires to serve, to heal, to help—they’re meant for you."

Human design gives you a detailed blueprint full of your unique strengths and gifts. By understanding and aligning with this blueprint, you can build a sustainable business that not only works for you but also makes a positive impact in the world.

Balancing Passion and Sustainability

A lot of entrepreneurs feel a deep pull to serve others and improve the world. This calling often feels almost spiritual and is deeply ingrained in them. Still, figuring out how to turn that calling into a functional and sustainable business isn’t always clear. Whether you’re a healer, teacher, or community builder, your gifts are meant to make a difference.

The first step? Getting clear on your direction. I've noticed that ambitious achievers often struggle with this. They’re good at so many things, making it hard to settle on one path. This can lead to burnout and scatter their efforts.

Mapping Your Path with Human Design

Human Design is all about five types—Generators, Manifestors, Manifesting Generators, Reflectors, and Projectors. Each type has its own strengths, gifts, and ways of working best. Plus, the human design charts feature three types of incarnation crosses: left angle, right angle, and juxtaposition crosses. These crosses are broken down further into 192 variations, which tell you more about your life purpose.

For example, I’m working with a 6/2 Manifesting Generator who’s all about community and empowerment. She naturally supports others by making them feel at home, which aligns perfectly with her incarnation cross. Often, our life purpose feels so natural that we might miss its importance. But once you understand these components, it all clicks into place.

Bringing Your Life Purpose into Your Business

Knowing your life purpose allows you to take intentional actions. "Having that clarity consciously allows you to move forward without wasting time and energy trying to figure it out. You’ve found it," I explain.

A common issue I see is folks having a hard time charging for their services, especially when it’s something they do effortlessly. Entrepreneurship isn’t just about passion; it's about creating offers, services, and business models that are both energetically and financially sustainable. You can and should prosper by fulfilling your life purpose.

Tools and Resources Just for You

I’ve got some practical tools to help you, like a personalized report on human design for entrepreneurs. It’s available at [www.spiritualbusinessincubator.com/hdreport](www.spiritualbusinessincubator.com/hdreport) and breaks down your design into actionable business strategies.

Plus, in upcoming episodes, I’ll feature various human design stories, including one from a reflector who’s developed unique business strategies tailored to her energy type. These stories will show the diversity within human design and give you concrete examples of how to apply these principles.

Long-Term Vision and Managing Resources

A big part of this journey is maintaining a long-term vision while being flexible. Business plans should evolve, but your life purpose stays pretty constant. "It’s not about doing the same thing forever but having a game plan to create value continuously," I advise.

This mature approach to business involves investing in the right resources. Whether it’s hiring the right coach or team member or managing your finances well, it helps create a fun, free-flowing business operation.

Wrapping It Up: Aligning Passion with Pragmatism

My mission is simple: to help you align your business with your life purpose, creating long-term sustainability and prosperity. By understanding your human design and committing to a purpose-driven business model, you serve yourself and make the world a better place.

And remember, enjoy the journey! Financially and emotionally, manage your resources wisely and invest in what truly brings value to your life and business.
